Project Manager

Integrous Architecture, LLC has an opening for a Project Manager in its Franklin, TN office. Candidate skills must include at least 5 years of commercial project management experience. We require excellence in communication and the ability to solve complex design issues. The candidate must maintain quality control, project and budget schedules and possess a clear understanding of Life Safety and building codes. The candidate must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as MS Office Suite. Qualified candidates will be licensed to practice architecture or seeking licensure. LEED accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of the Director of Architecture.
  • Independently manage multiple simultaneous projects from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Manage firm and customer expectations in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Supervise, prepare and coordinate construction documents utilizing internal and external design team members.
  • Create three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Manage the flow of information to the project team, including in-house staff and multiple engineering consultants to develop properly coordinated and technically accurate construction documents.
  • Report progress of schedules and budgets to leadership.
  • Assume responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and internal approval of materials and construction.
  • Participate in evaluating and selecting architectural and engineering consultants.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a project architect or project manager on commercial and residential projects.
  • Ability to solve complex design issues, both individually and in a team format.
  • Strong design skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit, SketchUp experience is a plus.
  • Proven knowledge of general architectural practice and process.
  • Knowledge of Life-Safety, Building Codes, and specification writing.
  • Medical specific experience is a plus

Education:
Accredited degree in Architecture preferred, Licensure and LEED accreditation a plus

Intern Architect

Integrous Architecture, LLC has an opening for an Intern Architect in its Franklin, TN office. Candidate qualifications must include a degree from an accredited architectural program and at least one year of commercial and/or residential experience within an architectural office. We require excellence in communication and the ability to support a team in complex design issues and rapid schedules. The candidate must maintain quality control and project delivery. The candidate will support Architectural Project Managers and must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of a Project Manager.
  • Support multiple simultaneous projects from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Support firm and customer expectations in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Create three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Perform redline changes and revisions.
  • Assist in the streamlining of the architectural design process from conceptual design through overall completion of projects.
  • Assist with contract administration responsibilities.
  • Participate in the architectural design process and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to the client or internal review.
  • Support the development of project specifications from master specifications.
  • Participate in the review of product or shop drawing submittals during the construction phase.
  • Under direction of the Project Manager, support the flow of information to the project team, including in-house staff and multiple engineering consultants to develop properly coordinated and technically accurate construction documents.
  • Report progress of assigned work to the Project Manager.
  • Assume responsibility for work accomplished.
  • Scan, copy, print, and transmit original working drawings of current projects.
  • Organize and maintain project files.

Experience Requirements:

  • Architectural degree or alternative 3 years minimum experience as an architectural intern on commercial and residential projects.
  • Ability to solve complex design issues, both individually and in a team format.
  • Strong design skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit. SketchUp experience is a plus.
  • Proven knowledge of general architectural practice and process.
  • Knowledge of Life-Safety, Building Codes, and specification writing.

Education:
Accredited degree in Architecture preferred.
